The Village Board received bids in September to complete road resurfacing on Moen Avenue and Midland Avenue. The project follows the completion of the Storm Sewer

separation project that covered most of Moen Avenue and its "feeder" streets. The project is scheduled to complete this year, before Winter weather sets in.

The Village Board has prepared a new ordinance to address the ability to plow the streets during snowfalls in excess of 1 inch. Street Parking will be restricted on alternating days to allow for the Public Works Department to clear the streets effectively.  On Odd numbered days, parking will only be allowed on the Odd numbered sides of the streets (usually the West or South sides) and on even

numbered days, parking will only be allowed on the Even numbered sides of the streets (usually the East or North sides).
Anyone wishing to comment on the proposed ordinance should visit a Village Board meeting or contact one of the Village Trustees. This ordinance will likely be addressed at one of the October  Village Board meetings.

Residents wishing to install or replace sidewalks may be interested in our 50/50 price sharing program.  The Village has an agreed-upon price from a specific contractor to

do sidewalk replacements in the Village. Residents pay half the cost and the Village picks up the other half. Contact the Village Clerk for additional information.
