Scattered Showers did not damper the enthusiastic crowd that attended the 2001 Rockdale Fest.
Kids Games, a Car Show, Bingo, Food, Treats, Beer and live Music by Chicago's Blues Angels helped to lift the spirits of the rain-soaked attendees who were treated with periods of beautiful sunshine.

You may have seen a new village vehicle roaming the streets this Summer. Our Village Clerk was able to read meters more quickly through the use of a new Golf Cart that was purchased for gen

eral use. The Clerk usually reads meters two days per month and is now able to quickly move from house to house while avoiding prolonged exposure to the elements.
